I am thrilled to announce my very first blog entry! And what a fantastic way to kickstart it than by sharing my experience of attending a remarkable coaching/vision workshop. It was truly top notch!
Last weekend, May 3-5 2024, I had the opportunity to take part in the live seminar organized by the Brave Thinking Institute. The event took place at the Fairmont Dallas, which provided an ideal setting for our activities. The spacious venue allowed us to be energetic, make noise, and engage in animated discussions without any concerns. Moreover, the hotel's convenient location offered a plethora of restaurant options, ensuring that we never went hungry. On Sunday, we had the chance to explore the vibrant downtown core and its surroundings, which were bustling with excitement due to the celebration of Cinco de Mayo. It was a weekend filled with discovery, as I not only expanded my knowledge during the seminar but also immersed myself in the rich culture and experiences that Dallas had to offer.
The Brave Thinking Institute, a family-run business, exceeded all expectations in terms of speaker quality and crowd engagement. Mary Morrissey, who appeared impressive on her social media ads, turned out to be even better in person. Her sons, John, Rich, and Matt Boggs, captivated the audience with their engaging storytelling skills. They had everyone hanging on their every word. Jennifer Jimenez, Mary's daughter, was an incredibly enthusiastic health and well-being coordinator for the event. Her energy and ability to motivate had us all feeling energized and ready to fully engage in each seminar session. The Brave Thinking Institute truly delivered an exceptional experience, leaving us inspired and eager for more.
Our friend group was truly diverse, with members hailing from different countries such as France, Sweden, and Canada. As you can imagine, our dietary needs were equally varied. However, when it came to satisfying our cravings, Dallas proved to be the perfect destination. Whether we were relishing delicious hamburgers in the vibrant pride atmosphere of Alexandre's in the Oak Lawn neighborhood or indulging in flavorful poke bowls in the bustling AT&T Plaza located in the heart of downtown, our taste buds were always treated to a delightful feast. Our Cinco de Mayo meal was unexpectedly Italian. We chose North Italia for our dining experience, mainly because of its high ratings on Yelp. Once again, we were delighted with our meal, the atmosphere, and the breathtaking view from the patio. Not only were the meals consistently top-notch in quality, but the portions were also generous, ensuring our appetites were more than satisfied. Dallas truly exceeded our expectations and left us with unforgettable culinary experiences.
As a pre-certified coach at the conference, I was filled with excitement and joy from the valuable teaching and learning experiences. The presentations not only enhanced my knowledge but also strengthened my understanding of the subject matter. Engaging in activities with our partners developed our personal visions more deeply, clearly demonstrating that each and every one of us has the ability to create the life we genuinely desire. The conference empowered me, leaving me motivated and confident in my coaching journey.
